The adoption of a fastback and a 6-cylinder engine are the big novelties introduced by the GT6.
It's new body is still designed by Michelotti, but the adoption of a fastback design (with hatchback) offers better aerodynamics.The Spitfire GT6 is equipped with the 6-cylinder engine of the Triumph Vitesse, smoother and more supple than the 4-cylinder of the MGB, a fierce competition between the 2 cars is immediately installed.
Unfortunately the anachronistic rear suspension is not up to the car's performance, this rear suspension is redesigned with the introduction of the MK2 in 1969.

The set consists of 1 front bumper, 2 rear bumpers and 4 overriders. Differences with the Spitfiure MK1 are hardly visible, however the stud that fixes the ovverriders has a different mounting angle and overrider design is very slightly different.
Superb reproduction in high grade stainless steel, hand polished to a mirror finish.
Strictly identical to the originals. Supplied complete with nuts, bolts and seals were needed.
